DB Productions’ Alameda EMS Corps director Ivy Meeropol will premiere her film Indian Point at Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, April 17th.

INDIAN POINT follows the continued operation of a nuclear power plant just north of New York City where a contentious debate over the safety of the facility is inflamed by the disastrous triple meltdown at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi plant. In response, the powerful nuclear industry fights back, restricting even the chairman of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission from improving safety at home.

At DB Productions, Ivy Meeropol has directed short film including: Full Partners, a short documentary about the collaboration between nurses, physicians and social workers, and Project ECHO, about the health care visionary Dr. Sanjeev Arora.
