New Film Sheds Light on Unique Program Preventing Teen Dating Violence

Last week, the House gave final approval for the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act, a landmark 1994 law which assists victims of domestic and sexual violence.

Preventing such abuse is a topic that is near and dear to our hearts. Recently, we produced a film with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that put a spotlight on one of their national programs, Start Strong, which tackles the tough issue of abuse in teen relationships. Targeting 11-to-14-year-olds and rallying entire communities, Start Strong is promoting healthy relationships as a way to prevent teen dating violence and abuse before it starts.

Watch the film below too see how Start Strong is empowering teens to take the lead in prevention.
