Alzheimer’s Disease is Preventable
The Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study, located at the University of California, San Diego, asked us for a recruitment tool to reach tens of thousands of adults between 65 and 85. They were beginning a groundbreaking study to test a treatment to slow the memory loss caused by Alzheimer’s. UCSD wanted participants who were living full lives, so we cast a 67-year-old retired boat-builder and followed a day in his life to compliment the physician’s informational sound-bites. The resulting film has been showcased at participating trial sites in the U.S., Canada & Australia.
