INDIAN POINT follows the continued operation of a nuclear power plant just north of New York City where a contentious debate over the safety of the facility is inflamed by the disastrous triple meltdown at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi plant. In response, the powerful nuclear industry fights back, restricting even the chairman of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission from improving safety at home.

At DB Productions, Ivy Meeropol has directed short film including: Full Partners, a short documentary about the collaboration between nurses, physicians and social workers; Project ECHO, about the health care visionary Dr. Sanjeev Arora; and a film highlighting scholars, fellows and leaders of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

We congratulate Ivy on this incredible achievement! We’re excited to see the finished film INDIAN POINT premiere in 2015!
