“E-Team” Wins Cinematography Award at Sundance

The ten days of the Sundance Film Festival came to a head on Sunday at the Awards Ceremony, and we’re excited to congratulate one of our filmmakers, Ross Kauffman, for winning the Cinematography Award for E-Team! Ross co-directed the documentary with Katy Chevigny, and the film was produced by Marylin Ness – also DB collaborators.

“It’s an incredible honor,” Ross told us. “We set out to tell a great story with great characters, and we’re thrilled that we had the opportunity to share it with everyone here.”

The documentary follows the high-stakes work of four daring investigators for Human Rights Watch. Learn more about the film here.

Among the films Ross has directed at DB Productions in the past year are two for GE; the viral short film “Fire With Fire,” and “Silver State” – a mini-doc which aired on CNBC during a journalistic hour focused on the Industrial Internet. Also with DB Productions, Ross shot and co-directed “Keeping Families Together” for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Congrats once again to Ross and the team, we’re proud of you!
